The Hotel - Restaurant L'HACIENDA is the point of departure for a wide variety of cultural and physical activities. Start with the adjacent town of Nîmes and its magnificent Roman architecture: the Roman Arenas, the Square House, the Gardens with their fountain and the 'Magne' Tower, etc... Head due south, cross the 'Petit Rhône' river and discover the Camargue with its rice-fields and salt flats, its wildlife park with its famous pink flamingos. This is also where the celebrated bulls and horses of the Camargue roam free.

The 'Pont du Gard', a short drive from the Hotel, is another architectural wonder created by the Romans. A majestic bridge across the river Gard, it was built as an aqueduct to carry water to the town of Nîmes.
